ISP / Spacebuilder Resellers

This module group enables Spacebuilder resellers to setup domain management systems within their existing Spacebuilder intranet. This allows a Spacebuilder reseller to manage their own customer's websites and intranets. Resellers retain autonomy over their own brand and can use Spacebuilder to design not only Websites, but also intranets under their own name. With Spacebuilder, these retailers can utilise their existing customer and skill base to extend a whole new range of services.

In the case of companies such as retail level DTP bureaus, Spacebuilder enables a graphic designer with little or no skill in website design (let alone programming) to create unique, database driven websites complete with integrated content management systems. It also frees them from the mundane task of having to 'construct' in HTML and lets the designer concentrate on the creative process.

Spacebuilder can enable these companies to open up a new range of services. Furthermore, Owners of retail level document management bureaus are attracted to Spacebuilder in principal as it creates annuity income through web and intranet hosting. Some examples of the modules in this family are:

Domain List : This module gives the user access to the 'sitelist'. It provides on-the-fly access to all the websites which the re-seller manages so that a designer may make updates to the design and content of those websites;

Spacebuilder Agent Admin : This module functions as a password portal. It provides a list of all client sites and gives access to all administration information connected to a particular site;

Domain Order : A company's domain is the name which appears in the address bar of the internet browser. (e.g. company.com or company.co.za) This module automates all the actions required to set up a new domain : Domain and ownership information is sent to the registrar to purchase the domain name, an invoice is created and sent to the customer, a request is made for the installation of the Spacebuilder system on the new domain, a report is created and placed in the inbox of the reseller's appointed administrator and a report is created and delivered to the inbox of appointed Spacebuilder employee associated with that particular reseller. An email is also created and sent to the client, confirming the details of the purchase. Each of these steps usually involves a separate procedure, none of which may be omitted. The 'Domain Order' module is a powerful, time-saving device;

Domain Transfer : This module performs a similar set of actions as the Domain Order Module except that it is tailored for the domain transfer process which involves another ISP rather than just the registrar

Order SSL (Secured Socket Layer) : SSL forms an integral part of the ecommerce environment. This protocol transmits communications over the Internet in an encrypted form. This module contacts the technical person responsible for SSL installation;

Create Spacebuilder Site : An installation process is activated by this module which creates a Spacebuilder website and intranet on any server, worldwide. Once again, the reporting process delivers notifications of the successful Spacebuilder Website Installation.
