Introduction to the SpaceOffice E-Business Suite

The Spaceoffice E-Business Suite is a completely web-based office solution. The vision behind this utility is to provide “one single completely integrated application to automate all business processes”. The SpaceOffice E-Business Modules have been organised according to a universal business model known as “SPA” (and not by chance the first 3 letters of SPAceacre) which reflects the three distinct areas common to all business enterprises :

Sales & Marketing
Production & Productivity
Administration & Accounting

In addition to the central “SPA” groups, further module groups have been created to encompass:

Communication and Knowledge Management
Human Resource Management (HR)

as well as utilities such as :-
Bulk Emailing
Large File Transfers

Each module group (e.g. Sales & Marketing) is divided into module families (e.g. Clients) and these in turn contain individual modules(e.g. Create Client).

This method of organising Modules has been developed to assist the user in the rapid development of the company's web based office. Each user is easily assigned access to individual modules to provide for total customisation of each users access to the business tools or information available.

This also lays the foundation for the development of advanced management and strategy tools within the Spacebuilder environment .
